Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Mizzou family! We share with you the tremendous pride, sense of accomplishment, joy, and yes, a twinge of sadness that comes with "letting go" of your son or daughter. University life will be exciting and sometimes difficult for you and your student. Although it is the student who is attending college, the whole family can be affected by the experience.

We invite you to join the MU Parents Association because we realize how significant the transition to college can be for you. The Association is a link between the University and the parents of MU students. Through the publications, services and activities of the MU Parents Association, you can become more informed about the academic and social environment of the campus where your student will begin a new stage of life.

We hope that you, as well as your son or daughter, will enjoy being members of the Mizzou family, and that you will join the MU Parents Association.
