Family Weekend

MU Parents Association participates in Family Weekend, teaming up with the Department of Student Life. This weekend is usually in September. Family Weekend gives you the opportunity to visit your student and take advantage of a variety of activities on campus and in the Columbia community. Mizzou Family Restaurant Crawl

The MU Parents Association proudly sponsors the Mizzou Family 2005 Restaurant Crawl. This year marked the first year for the crawl and it was a huge success. More than 100 individuals participated in the crawl. The Restaurant Crawl gives you, the parents and family of Mizzou students a great excuse to come to Columbia and visit your students. You will get the opportunity to go around to several of Columbia's most popular local restaurants and sample a wide variety of food. Meet Mizzou

Meet Mizzou nights are held in Kansas City,St. Louis and Columbia at a convenient location that is announced as the time nears. This night gives incoming freshmen and their parents the opportunity to gain more knowledge about MU. Various booths are displayed with representatives to answer questions and hand out information that may help finalize their decision on attending the University of Missouri.

Homecoming Parade

Every year we participate in the annual Homecoming Parade. Members of the Board either ride or walk the distance tossing out candy and handing out brochures. We feel that, since we are a part of the Mizzou Family, we should show our support and our Tiger Pride. In the near future, we hope to have other members of our association walk with us in the parade.
